Risen from a humid grave in Atlanta (though you would be excused if you thought of Tampa), grimy Death Metal warriors Cemetery Filth spew forth a barraging homage to the Ancient Gods, with a nod to 90s era Morbid Angel and Autopsy.
Dominion, while being heavily inspired by the aforementioned patriarchs, is still surprisingly fresh and filled with original ideas. Hiding a technical proficiency behind a thick slab of “caveman”, the album is brutal yet never repetitive and a a great addition to an already good year for Death Metal.
