D.V.T.’s universe is steeped in ancient liturgy dedicated to the Old Ones (or as the band might prefer, to the Monolith), suspicious cults calling out to their ancient masters with ritualistic ceremonies that pre-date modern man. A full listen is a ceremony dedicated to an obscure, distant (and somehow too close) deity.
To the Monolith II is an incredibly accessible drone album with strong black metal tinges.
