An uncompromisingly brutal, punishing EP if there ever has been one.
Full of feedback and noisy guitars, Ignorance Exalted oozes filth from all of its (many) seeping orifices. On par with similarly repugnant Pissgrave, Fluids is on a mission to tarnish your ear ducts. Mortician comes to mind as a spiritual forefather, but Fluids still manage to outgrow the comparison and to deliver a stunning release.
At a first cursory listen, the album can appear to be samey. However, plenty of tempo changes (a really slow closer brings almost “doom-y/stoner-y” atmospheres to mind), a wealth of buzzsaw riffs and an interesting use of samples and synths make it quote a varied listen.
